Manuel Viotti, Ph.D.

Senior Scientist and Principal Investigator

Dr. Viotti comes to the Foundation from Weill Cornell Graduate School of Medical Sciences, Memorial Sloan Kettering, and Genentech where he devised and performed experiments on cell dynamics and molecular mechanisms of embryonic morphogenesis and the epigenetic regulation of cell identity. These studies were published in the scientific journals  Nature Cell Biology,  Plos Biology,   Developmental Cell,   Journal of Cell Biology,  and others.

Dr. Viotti designs and executes studies consistent with the Foundation’s objectives utilizing classic embryology techniques and integrating state of the art molecular biology methods.
